  • Unpleasant smell: an indication that the refrigerant has seeped out and needs topping up
  • Poor performance: if you notice a drop in pressure from your air con system, or hear strange noises when it’s on, let us know.
  • Allergies: air con systems can also filter out allergens so if you notice an increased reaction to these, such as sneezing or sore throat, you may need a system check.

    My husband usually takes my car here, so it was my first visit. I was pleasantly surprised at how welcoming and... friendly everyone was when I went recently for a MOT. The whole reception area was so clean and comfortable, so I settled down to wait. It was interesting to watch my car being tested through the very large viewing window (see photo)! I like the fact that appointments are available, rather than being told to 'just come in and wait'. The test was completed in record time but I could've stayed a lot longer - it was so relaxing!
