  • Car won’t start: a failed or broken cambelt will mean your car won’t start. A mechanic will always check your cambelt in this case.
  • Engine power reduced: a soon-to-fail cambelt can result in a loss or reduction in engine power.
  • Oil leak: if you notice an oil leak near the engine area, get this checked out as it could relate to the cambelt
