I noticed my engine becoming increasingly loud over a few months, so I took it to my local garage (where I had my minor service and MOT done in November 2025). After a quick test drive, their mechanic claimed my timing chain was in a dangerous condition and required an immediate, incredibly expensive replacement. Since my car is a 2012 model, I wanted a second opinion before committing to such a costly repair—especially with a long holiday drive coming up.Luckily, I found Cardoc in North Harrow after reading their excellent online reviews. I emailed them and received a prompt reply from Paul, who clearly explained the diagnostic costs and next steps. I dropped my car off, and within two hours, they diagnosed the actual issue: a worn engine alternator belt, not the timing chain! The total quote was nearly a third of what the first garage wanted!When I collected the car, the noise was completely gone. To my surprise, they had also complimentary topped up my fluids and fully washed and vacuumed the car. Paul was incredibly kind, taking the time to answer all my questions in detail. This was hands-down the best experience I have ever had with a garage. I highly recommend Cardoc to anyone who dreads car maintenance—they are honest, professional, and excellent value.

I have used Cardoc ever since it opened. A couple of days ago, I rang them to express my concern about a rattling noise when I start up the engine. The noise wasn't there when I first got the vehicle six months ago. To me it sounded like a motorcycle running although it was probably not that loud. But I wasn't happy with the noise and wanted to get it checked for peace of mind. Cardoc was able to check it within half an hour. The gentleman (sorry, I didn't get his name) who dealt with me was so kind and polite. He explained to me that a brake cable was slightly loose and the mechanic had somehow fixed it but it was the design of my Peugeot. Although it might happen again, I am very happy with the explanation and communication with this gentleman. He even took a video to show me the problem. I am very pleased with Cardoc. I was not charged for the service which tells a lot about the garage.

My car was in for an MOT last Tuesday. I was allowed to drop it off early because of work. The business did not open until 8.30am. I go a phonecall at 8.10am saying that it was complete and I could collect it anytime as it was ready! I always use this company. They are precise, considerate, and very trustworthy. I found that whenever my car has been in for other things they communicate issue clearly. They give you options as to whether you proceed with the issue or want to get a second quote. I would use this company ten fold. Thank you
